Strong communication skills and ability to respond quickly to in-game changes Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays Ability to work consistently with athletic event schedules and last-minute changes High energy and engaging personality Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure Professional, reliable, and team-oriented approach in live event settings Desired Qualifications Previous experience as a PA announcer or in-arena host Familiarity with collegiate athletics and game flow for sports such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball, and softball Experience working within Division I athletics or similar high-level sports environments Strong understanding of NCAA game structure and in-game timing Experience working with live production teams and in-arena entertainment environments Position Purpose The Public Address (PA) Announcer serves as the voice of Oakland University Athletics during live home athletic events. This role is responsible for delivering clear, energetic, and professional in-game announcements that enhance the fan experience and support game operations across multiple sports.
