Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology / Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0630–1700) | 4x10-hour shifts per week | Rotating day off | Mandatory call requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and the broader healthcare team to facilitate effective patient care and treatment.
• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice.
• Perform holistic, ongoing patient assessments and develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments in accordance with care goals addressing physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on appropriate health information in a timely manner, including providing written instructional materials.
• Accurately document care provided, assessments, plans of care, interventions, and patient responses; demonstrate ability to manage emergency situations in a prompt and professional manner.

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license or valid Compact RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be maintained throughout assignment.
• Ability to function consistently within the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice.
• Willingness and ability to take call as required.
• Ability to float as a sitter and participate in unit rotation as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, or Electrophysiology settings strongly preferred.
• Ability to both scrub and circulate during interventional procedures is highly preferred.
