FP&A Analyst

A growing manufacturing company based in Melville is seeking a sharp, commercially minded Business Analyst to join its expanding team. This is a newly created role due to company growth and increased demand for actionable business insights across finance, operations, and sales. The ideal candidate will bring a strong FP&A background or business analysis mindset with the ability to turn complex data into meaningful recommendations that support strategic decision-making. This position will work cross-functionally with leadership, finance, sales, and operations to analyze trends, improve reporting, and drive profitability initiatives. Responsibilities Analyze financial, operational, sales, pricing, and customer data to identify trends and business opportunities Translate large data sets into actionable commercial insights for leadership teams Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, KPI tracking, and management reporting packages Evaluate pricing, margin performance, and customer profitability metrics Partner with sales and operational leaders to improve business performance and decision-making Assist with systems improvements, data integrity initiatives, and reporting automation Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to senior leadership Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field 3+ years of experience in FP&A, business analysis, commercial finance, or related analytical roles Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a commercial mindset Experience working with sales data, pricing analysis, margin analysis, and customer analytics Advanced Excel skills required; experience with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across multiple business units Manufacturing industry experience is a plus, but not required High-achieving, driven candidates with strong business acumen are encouraged to apply This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a growing organization where they can have visibility, impact, and long-term career growth within a collaborative environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
