Quality And Safety ManagerSummary: Own and continually improve Business Unit's quality/business management and safety systems Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Internal expert/resource on all quality and safety systems implementedSupport, monitor and continually improve all quality and safety systemsOversee all quality & safety audits, maintain records of the audit, and coordinate response/closure to findingsQuality representative for contract review processContinually monitor training system and recordsMaintain, monitor and report on performance against Quality ObjectivesCoordinate the Management Review processOwn and continually improve compliance with all OSHA requirementsComplete form 300/300A and post as required annuallyMonitor all safety issues identifying root cause and elimination of the riskSupport HR in the completion of Workman Comp claimsTrain all employees on quality & safety procedures & monitor performanceSupport a safety oriented culture within the companyParticipate in the development of the company's strategic planning, vision, mission and values and desired cultureProvide good feedback and promote good communicationAbide by and support all safety and quality system requirementsAreas & Procedures Owned:Document control processDocument retention processECO processManagement responsibility processCalibration processQuality manual, policy, and objectivesInternal audit processContinuous improvement processData analysis processCAPA processRMA processProduct identification & traceability processNon-conforming material processSupplier qualificationAll safety proceduresQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.Reasoning Ability:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
