Physician Hospitalist - Competitive Salary

Job Description Hospitalists needed in the Central Valley CA area Join a Hospital employed Hospitalist group offering block schedules. They have a team of 12 daytime hospitalists rounding in a 400 bed Level II trauma center. They have an open ICU with both Hospitalists and Pulmonary Critical Care physicians staffing the ICU. The Hospitalists work 12 hour shifts, 7am-7pm and work 16 shifts per month. They average 16-18 patients per physician. The Hospitalists are given a 20k signing bonus and receive over $1,500.00 per shift, plus an additional 15k in bonuses and the Hospital contributes 7% of annual income toward the Physicians Pension plan. They also offer a complete benefits package and relocation assistance. The practice is located less than one hour to Sacramento and 1.5 hours east of San Francisco.
