Job Summary

All IT Solutions is seeking a Linux DevOps Engineer to join a client engagement.

Responsibilities

• As a Linux DevOps Engineer you will
• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation solutions using Ansible and Ansible Tower
• Develop, manage, and optimize Ansible playbooks for server provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks
• Support and maintain Linux-based environments, ensuring stability, performance, and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, configuration, deployment, and application-related issues
• Manage system configurations, environment setup, and deployment activities across multiple environments. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and support teams to streamline infrastructure processes and improve operational efficiency
• Analyze and resolve networking-related issues involving proxies, firewalls, load balancing, routing, and connectivity
• Support infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, patching, and performance optimization efforts
• Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and drive root cause analysis for production issues
• Support deployment and release activities while ensuring compliance with the best operational practices
• Document automation processes, system configurations, and operational procedures

Required Qualifications

• Linux Background, Ansible Tower, Proxies, Firewalls and DevOps
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve system reliability through scripting and orchestration tools
• Assist with repository-based workflows, version control practices, and configuration management standards
• Strong experience administering and supporting Linux/Unix operating systems
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, including creating and managing playbooks
• Experience with Ansible Tower/AWX for automation and orchestration
• Strong understanding of infrastructure concepts, including servers, networking, and operating systems
• Experience troubleshooting networking issues, including firewalls, proxies, DNS, and network connectivity
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation, configuration management, and deployment processes
• Ability to read, modify, and troubleshoot scripts written in Python, Bash/Shell, Go, or Java
• Experience supporting enterprise production environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week
