Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse position is available in the crisis psychiatric unit located in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care to individuals with psychiatric illnesses, with a focus on developing care plans, evaluating patient outcomes, and utilizing available resources. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Lewiston, Maine
• Shift Hours: 12-hour night shifts
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 07/06/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license, at least 1 year of previous experience in mental health nursing, 2-year associates degree, BLS certification, current CPI training prior to start date
• Preferred Qualifications: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, strong team playability, ability to manage stress, flexibility to work 24/7 coverage
• Additional Information: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Please do not submit. Local travelers will receive a $10/hr lower local rate. Previous employees of the organization are not accepted. Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. The organization has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract. Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.
