Primary Responsibilities Lead residential HVAC system installations from start to finish Install heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment to manufacturer specifications and local code requirements Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Educate homeowners on system operation and maintenance Train and mentor apprentices and junior installers Accurately complete installation paperwork and ServiceTitan documentation Record model/serial numbers, materials used, and installation details Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and customers Maintain truck inventory, cleanliness, and tool accountability Protect customers’ homes and leave every job site cleaner than you found it Identify and communicate safety concerns or installation issues promptly Ensure all installations meet Thermo Direct quality standards Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and installation practices Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and lead a team on job sites High School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications EPA Certification NATE Certification Experience using ServiceTitan Leadership or mentoring experience Why This Position Stands Out At Thermo Direct, our installers are not treated like numbers.
