Position Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Associate – Milpitas, CA. Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour. Job Schedule Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM. How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and other site systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and route information to the appropriate personnel in a calm, problem‑solving manner. Coordinate routine and urgent communications between officers, supervisors, client contacts, and/or first responders to help support timely responses to incidents and critical situations. Maintain accurate logs, incident records, pass‑down information, and other dispatch‑related documentation in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrol support through remote monitoring and communication with field personnel around the business and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. CPR certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
