Role Description The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based treatment to patients in an on-site clinical setting located in Katy, TX. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities, monitoring patient responses, documenting treatments, and reinforcing home exercise programs. The PTA will help prepare treatment areas and equipment, ensure a clean and organized environment, and collaborate closely with therapists, front office team members, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes. This is a full-time role that requires consistent on-site presence, professional communication with patients and families, and adherence to all clinical protocols and regulatory standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation to effectively implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Candidates should possess a commitment to Quality Patient Care and Patient Care, with a focus on safety, empathy, and clear communication. Candidates should possess relevant Orthopedics knowledge to assist in treating musculoskeletal injuries and post-operative conditions. Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and current PTA licensure (or eligibility) in the state of Texas. Ability to follow clinical instructions, document accurately in electronic or paper records, and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to support patients of diverse backgrounds and functional levels.
