Who were looking for
1–2 years of medical spa experience required, including familiarity with cosmetic injectables and advanced laser treatments
At least one year of experience in a spa, hotel, salon, or high-end hospitality environment in a management capacity, preferably with high-volume booking and spa software
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team while driving accountability
Natural ability to inspire, motivate, and foster a positive, high-energy team culture
Sales and education-driven , with a talent for cross-booking, upgrading, and growing both revenue and team performance
Exceptional, high-touch customer service skills with the ability to resolve concerns, navigate challenges, and build lasting client relationships
Professional, polished communication skills with strong interpersonal awareness
Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail ; able to think on your feet and manage competing priorities
Self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding key performance indicators
Confidently educate guests on services, amenities, and home care to elevate their experience and optimize bookings
Maintain a clean, safe, and elevated environment, ensuring treatment areas and overall spa presentation meet brand standards
Oversee daily operations including inventory, ordering, and facility maintenance coordination
Proficient in MS Office and/or Google Drive; experience with Zenoti and Slack is a plus
Reliable with consistent attendance and punctuality ; available to work weekends and some holidays
Passion for excellence with a strong work ethic and team-first mindset
Brand ambassador who embodies warmth, professionalism, and a can-do attitude
Spa industry knowledge with a genuine interest in wellness
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
Willingness to commit to a consistent schedule for at least one year
Core Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a positive, accountable culture
Deliver and uphold an exceptional, high-touch guest experience at every stage of the journey
Drive sales performance through education, coaching, and daily business oversight
Oversee daily operations including scheduling optimization, inventory, ordering, and facility maintenance
Maintain a clean, safe, and elevated spa environment aligned with brand standards
Resolve guest and employee concerns with professionalism, urgency, and care
Monitor business performance, KPIs, and revenue goals; proactively address gaps
Collaborate with leadership on reporting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
Support events, promotions, and programs that drive guest retention and growth

About the founders
Viva Day Spa is a women owned, Austin based, day spa started in June of 2005 by three women. The founders; Shannon Mouser, Maya Aroch and Laurie Aroch, bring together the brains of an engineer, the knowledge of a nutritionist, pharmacist, herbalist and the mindfulness and industry understanding of a Massage Therapist who happen to be best friends and sisters. Viva is known in the industry as “the” spa to work for boasting many wins as Best Places to Work, an excellent benefit package, one if the highest pays in the industry and most importantly was founded by the owners to take great care of the employees so they can take great care for Viva’s guest.
