Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads or supervises a team of configuration management specialists and serves as the Configuration Management (CM) Lead or Subject Matter Expert (SME).

• Provides configuration baseline control throughout the lifecycle of highly complex information systems, including component software and hardware elements.

• Facilitates and advises the DLA Configuration Control Steering Group (CCSG) and Configuration Control Working Groups (CCWG).

• Maintains allocated, functional, and physical baseline control and performs audit support. Reviews all engineering change requests to assess impacts on the configuration baseline and logistics support elements.

• Maintains configuration control records and technical documentation.

• Works closely with quality assurance and management representatives to ensure an accurate and well-documented product baseline.

• Prepares directives for change authorization and implementation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Clearance

• Secret - IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive Clearance Tier 3 (T3) investigation.

Experience

• Ten (10) years of relevant experience

• Experience leading or supervising a team of configuration management specialists

Certification

• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
