Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to join the team in Danbury, CT. In this role, you will play a critical part in optimizing production processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.
Diagnose and resolve technical production issues, equipment downtime, and process bottlenecks in real time.
Assist with the specification, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and tooling.
Support quality assurance efforts by developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
Partner with production, quality, and design teams to support new product introductions (NPI) and product modifications.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and strong familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen).
Strong analytical abilities with a practical, hands-on approach to root-cause analysis.
