Responsibilities Our Clinical Nurses (RN) in OP Chemotherapy independently provide care to adult patients with a focus in medical and surgical oncologic specialties such as breast, GYN and neuroendocrine tumors. Working with a dedicated team, the RN provides evidence-based, high quality care, including patient assessment and treatment, and serves as a resource for other team members. Qualifications Must possess a high school diploma or GED Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and successfully completed the State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam BSN Preferred RN License Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS upon hire Must possess one to two years of clinical nursing experience in oncology, strongly preferred Oncology Nurse Certified (OCN) preferred, or agreement to certify within one year of hire Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider certification within 6 months of hire Must obtain 20 Contact hours per year, fifty percent of which must be clinically focused. Academic course credits may be used on a 1:1 credit hour exchange. Salary Information Min USD $37.75/Hr. Max USD $67.95/Hr.
