Banquet Manager

We are seeking a highly organized, service-focused professional to lead banquet operations and deliver exceptional event experiences. In this role, you will oversee the coordination, and execution of banquet functions while ensuring a seamless experience for guests, clients, and team members. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to hospitality excellence. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and oversee banquet events from setup through teardown Work closely with clients, culinary teams, and other departments to ensure event requirements are met Supervise banquet staff, including scheduling, training, and performance support Ensure proper room setup, service standards, and event presentation Monitor event timelines and adjust staffing or logistics as needed to maintain smooth operations Address guest concerns promptly and professionally Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies Collaborate with leadership to improve banquet service quality and operational efficiency Qualifications Previous experience in banquet, catering, event operations, or hospitality management Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of banquet service standards, event setup, and guest service best practices Comfort working flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Proficiency with basic computer systems, scheduling tools, or point-of-sale platforms preferred Preferred Attributes Professional and polished approach to guest and team interactions Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure Strong sense of accountability and follow-through Commitment to teamwork and delivering a positive event experience What We Offer A collaborative and guest-centered work environment Opportunities to grow within hospitality and events operations The chance to lead memorable events and make a meaningful impact Competitive Compensation and Benefits health, vision, and dental insurance group life and long term disability insurance Flex Spending Account and Dependent Care Account Tuition and Student Loan Reimbursement 401(k) plan This is a position which will require work on weekends, nights and holidays.
