Do you want to lead a talented Golf Course Maintenance team at one of Arizona’s premier private clubs?
Would you like to play a key role in establishing the standard of care for a newly renovated championship golf course?
Are you looking for an organization that invests in its facilities, its people, and the long-term success of its team?

The grass IS greener here at The Country Club at DC Ranch!

We are searching for a Senior Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our Golf Course Maintenance leadership team. Working in partnership with the Director of Agronomy & Grounds, the Senior Assistant Superintendent will help lead the daily care and operation of our championship golf course, oversee and develop GCM staff, assist with budgeting and planning, manage safety and regulatory compliance, and ensure exceptional course conditions for our members and guests.

The Country Club at DC Ranch is entering one of the most exciting chapters in its history.

As the Club prepares to reopen its golf course in November 2026, it is entering the final stages of a transformational $23+ million Golf Course Improvement Project. At the heart of this investment is a fully renovated Tom Lehman championship golf course, an expanded state-of-the-art practice facility, and reimagined golf operations designed to deliver an unparalleled member experience.

For the right leader, this is a rare opportunity to join the Golf Course Maintenance team at a defining moment in the Club's history. More than stepping into an established role, the Golf Course Senior Assistant Superintendent will help establish and uphold the agronomic and conditioning standards of the newly renovated course, develop a high-performing maintenance team, and help protect one of the most significant investments in the Club's history.

The opportunity extends well beyond opening day. This leader will play an integral role in the long-term stewardship of the golf course—working alongside the Director of Agronomy & Grounds to ensure the course matures successfully, consistently delivers exceptional playing conditions, and reflects the standards expected of one of the Southwest's premier private clubs.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Sonoran Desert, The Country Club at DC Ranch blends rich western heritage with refined luxury. Originally established on historic ranch land, the Hacienda Clubhouse reflects the character of the Southwest through warm leather, handcrafted ironwork, and timeless architecture. The Tom Lehman championship golf course winds through the desert landscape toward the McDowell Mountains, offering dramatic views that stretch from towering saguaros to the Scottsdale skyline.

Beyond its remarkable setting, The Country Club at DC Ranch is equally committed to investing in its people. Established in 2019, the DC Ranch Scholarship Foundation provides tuition assistance to employees, their spouses, children, and grandchildren, reflecting the Club's belief that its team members are its greatest asset. Through the generosity of members and private donors, the Foundation has raised more than $1 million and awards scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 annually, supporting more than 25 employees and family members each year.

This investment in both our facilities and our people has created a culture where talented professionals can build meaningful, long-term careers. For a leader who is energized by developing teams, pursuing exceptional course conditions, and leaving a lasting impact on a premier golf operation, this is a genuine once-in-a-career opportunity.
