Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, supporting project planning efforts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project execution. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

• Analyze material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs to develop accurate project budgets.

• Review plans and specifications to identify project scope, risks, and opportunities.

• Solicit, evaluate, and compare vendor and subcontractor bids.

• Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and clients throughout the bidding process.

• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information.

• Assist in developing proposals and supporting documentation for project bids.

• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project handoff meetings as needed.

• Provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating experience, preferably within construction, manufacturing, engineering, or related industries.

• Strong understanding of estimating principles, project costing, and bid preparation.

• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; estimating software experience is a plus.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
