As a Security Officer Patrol Inspector in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support patients, visitors, and staff through strong communication and customer service while contributing to a caring, reliable, and team-driven environment built on integrity and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directional support, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured areas, and/or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations at the location by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
