- Support agency compliance and quality assurance efforts across programs and services.
- Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, monitoring tools, and quality improvement processes.
- Conduct internal program, documentation, and billing audits/reviews.
- Research compliance concerns and provide guidance to staff on regulatory and policy requirements.
- Maintain compliance records, prepare reports, and monitor corrective action plans.
- Represent the department during audits, committees, and special projects
- Assists with the implementation of various projects as assigned.
- Coordinate and document consumer incident reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct investigations, complete reports, and present findings to review committees.
- Maintain incident records and ensure timely reporting within external oversight systems.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies and internal leadership on incident-related matters.
- Prepare incident trend analyses and reports to support quality improvement efforts.
- Provide technical assistance and training on incident management processes and regulations.
- Deliver training on compliance, incident management, and related topics.
- Assist in the development of training materials and staff education initiatives.
- Serve as a resource to staff regarding agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of compliance, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements in human services.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic record systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and agency regulations.
- Valid NYS Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the service area.
- Acceptable physical and mental health to carry out the responsibilities of the position and be able to negotiate stairs.

- Associate’s degree in related field and 2-3 years relevant experience; or
