Job Summary

Salt Lake City, Utah — Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This position supports critically ill patients in a 24-bed intensive care setting with patient ratios generally ranging from 1:2 to 1:3, with higher-acuity assignments requiring 1:1 care. The role requires strong intensive care experience and proficiency with advanced critical care procedures and equipment.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Two years of Intensive Care Unit experience required; strong candidates with one year of experience may be considered. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Three weekend shifts are required within each four-week period.
• Preferred Qualifications: Outgoing, team-oriented professional with experience caring for patients requiring ventilators, vasopressors, restraints, arterial lines, and other intensive care interventions.
• Additional Information: Clinical responsibilities may include rapid sequence intubation, central line placement, bronchoscopy, arterial line placement, and chest tube placement. Patient assignments may include medical-surgical intensive care patients, progressive care boarders, sitters, and higher-acuity patients requiring specialized support. Caribbean blue scrubs are required.
