In this role, associates will gain diverse work experiences and exposure to multiple areas of distribution. We’re looking for individuals who are ambitious, interested in learning various skills, and who enjoy problem solving.Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, and is a global leader in delivering carpet, hardwood, tile & stone, laminate, synthetic turf, and other specialty products to residential and commercial markets worldwide. We are committed to creating a better future for our customers, our people, our company, and our communities.**Responsibilities:*** Identify, retrieve, and transport materials and pallets throughout the distribution warehouse.* Maintain paperwork to receive and track materials as required.* Wrap and band Hard Surface materials prepared on pallets. Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.* Read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders.* Tape and repair any damaged packaging.
