Full-Time | Monday-Friday | $19.00-$21.00/hour, depending on experience

Occasional evening or weekend support may be required for special programs or events.

Sanatoga Ridge Community is seeking a warm, organized, and dependable  Resident Life Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our Resident Life department.

This is a varied, resident-facing position combining  administrative support, front-office responsibilities, resident service, communication, and program coordination . Initially, the position will have a strong focus on front-office coverage and routine resident and administrative support. As SRC transitions to a dedicated reception model, the role is expected to shift toward greater emphasis on Resident Life departmental support, resident engagement, and programming.

We are looking for someone who is approachable, coachable, comfortable working with older adults, able to manage multiple priorities, and confident using Microsoft Office. Prior senior living experience is preferred but not required; relevant administrative, customer service, hospitality, or programming experience is also welcome.

What You'll Do

• Provide administrative support to the Director of Resident Life and help keep department records, schedules, communications, and daily processes organized.
• Serve as a welcoming point of contact for residents, visitors, vendors, and callers.
• Assist residents with routine questions, forms, registrations, payments, copies, and other office needs.
• Receive and appropriately route resident requests and work orders to the responsible department.
• Perform routine data entry, filing, scanning, copying, mailing, and document preparation.
• Assist with correspondence, notices, and other community communications.
• Manage registrations, RSVPs, attendance lists, program records, calendars, reminders, and related materials.
• Assist with coordinating resident programs, educational offerings, trips, entertainment, and special events.
• Help coordinate with presenters, vendors, volunteers, resident groups, and community partners.
• Support Welcome Home activities, resident engagement efforts, and other community-building initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with Resident Life and other SRC departments on organizational priorities and special projects.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in administrative support, customer service, hospitality, senior living, recreation, programming, or a similar environment preferred.
• Warm, professional, and patient communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and interruptions while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Good judgment, discretion, and respect for confidentiality.
• Comfort interacting with and assisting older adults.
• Ability to move throughout the campus and occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 20 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
