Role Description PTI is seeking a Traveling Field Service Technician (Entry Level to Experienced) to join our growing team. This is a full-time, traveling position requiring travel throughout the Southeastern United States. As a Field Service Technician, you'll install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of parking technology, access control, networking, and low-voltage systems at customer sites. Whether you're beginning your career or already have industry experience, we're looking for dependable individuals who enjoy hands-on work, solving technical problems, and traveling to new project locations. Responsibilities Install, configure, test, and commission parking technology, access control, LPR cameras, and related hardware Install and terminate low-voltage cabling, networking equipment, and field devices Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, networking, and software-related issues Perform preventative maintenance and repair existing systems Read wiring diagrams, technical documentation, and site plans Document completed work, service activities, and project updates Work closely with project managers, customers, and fellow technicians Ensure all work is completed safely and meets PTI quality standards Travel to customer sites throughout the Southeastern United States as required Qualifications Required Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in the field Basic understanding of hand and power tools Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to travel throughout the Southeastern United States Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism Preferred Experience with low-voltage installations Basic electrical experience Knowledge of IP networking, TCP/IP, routers, switches, and PoE devices Experience with access control, CCTV, parking equipment, or security systems Experience reading blueprints and wiring diagrams Technical certifications or vocational training in electronics, networking, or information technology What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid travel expenses Company Benefits Ongoing technical training and career development Opportunities for advancement within a growing company A collaborative team environment focused on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction #J-18808-Ljbffr
