Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule:
- Shift Type: Nights
- Shift Times: 7p-7a

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 16 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:
- Current state RN license or proof of application.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (active or proof of class prior), NIHSS.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Emergency Department specialty.
- Experience with Epic documentation system within the past 2 years.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide care to adult and pediatric patients in a busy emergency department setting.
- Manage medications and IV therapies as per facility protocols.
- Perform EKGs and give respiratory treatments.
- Assist with lab draws and IV starts.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members including advanced practice providers.

Compliance / Notes:
- Dress Code: Navy blue and white scrubs, closed-toe shoes, no artificial nails or excessive jewelry.
- Orientation: 20-24 hours based on contract length.
- No usage of cell phones or earbuds while working.
