Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting, requiring over 1 year of clinical experience and strong case management skills.

Details

• Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting in Decatur, IL
• Manages patient caseload of 10-11 patients with evaluations scheduled in 30-minute blocks and sessions lasting approximately 1-1.25 hours
• Treats adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with conditions including Achilles Tendonitis, ACL Tear, Post-Operative Back Pain, Disc Herniation, Fractures, Osteoarthritis, Rotator Cuff issues, and Vestibular Therapy needs
• Uses NextGen for documentation and charting
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options
• Clinic hours vary by day: Monday and Wednesday 7:00 AM-6:00 PM, Tuesday and Thursday 6:30 AM-6:30 PM, and Friday 7:00 AM-5:30 PM

Requirements

• License required if applicable
• More than 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• New graduates not accepted
• Outpatient case management experience required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a PT/PTA clinical team
