Permanent Emergency Medicine Physician Community Hospital Opportunity

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician, or a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician with Emergency Medicine experience, to join a community hospital Emergency Department in northeastern North Carolina. This opportunity offers a supportive provider team, manageable patient volume, and strong specialty and transport support.

Position Details:

• Job Type: Permanent

• Setting: Community Hospital Emergency Department
• Clinical Environment: 15-bed Emergency Department
• Approximately 21,000 ED visits annually
• Provider team includes physicians and advanced practice providers
• 12 twelve-hour shifts per month
• 24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage
• Telestroke support available
• Strong air and ground transport support for patient transfers
• Full hospital specialty support including: General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Neurology, Cardiology, Pain Management, Endocrinology, Urology

This position allows providers to live within commuting distance of northeastern North Carolina or the Tidewater Virginia region.

Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine OR Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
• Eligible for North Carolina licensure
