Tooling EngineerWe are seeking a motivated Tooling Coordinator / Tooling Technician to support tooling operations within a manufacturing facility. Working closely with the Tooling Engineer, this role helps maintain tooling inventory, supports production operations, manages documentation, and assists with continuous improvement projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with equipment, and contributing to manufacturing process improvements.Education Requirements:High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferredExperience Requirements:Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Good math skills and strong attention to detailAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsManufacturing or industrial experience preferredInventory management or purchasing experience preferredExperience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software preferredLeadership or supervisory experience is a plusJob Duties:Maintain tooling inventory to support production requirementsTrack tool usage, tool life, and inventory recordsAssist with evaluating tooling and recommending improvementsMaintain tooling databases, drawings, and documentationConvert paper drawings into electronic formatsSupport tooling design, engineering projects, and continuous improvement initiativesAssist with tooling setup, troubleshooting, and production supportWork with manufacturing teams to ensure tooling availability and efficiencyAnalyze tooling and production data to identify process improvementsParticipate in Lean Manufacturing and cost-reduction projectsPhysical Capabilities:Ability to work in a manufacturing environmentAbility to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facilityAbility to safely handle tooling, equipment, and materialsAbility to occasionally lift and carry materials as requiredBenefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
