The pay range for this role is $50.40- 78.65. Summary The Manager, Pulse Center Technology and Support Staff is responsible for the operational leadership, coordination, and optimization of technology‑enabled services and non‑licensed support roles within the Guthrie Pulse Center. This role serves as a critical bridge between clinical operations, information technology, digital health, analytics, and innovation teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient delivery of Pulse Center services. The Manager oversees Pulse Center support staff and technology‑dependent workflows, including centralized monitoring platforms, transfer center operations, telemetry, virtual observation, device management, and data‑enabled operational processes. The role focuses on execution, standardization, and continuous improvement of technology‑supported care models, ensuring that systems, tools, and workflows effectively support clinical teams and enterprise operations. Experience Required * Demonstrated experience managing healthcare operations, support services, or technology‑enabled workflows. * Experience working in complex, matrixed healthcare environments. Preferred * Prior experience with virtual care platforms, centralized operations, transfer centers, telemetry, or digital health services. * Experience supporting pilots, innovation programs, or technology scale‑up in healthcare settings. Education * Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, information systems, business, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Essential Functions Technology‑Enabled Operations * Provide day‑to‑day operational leadership for Pulse Center technology‑supported services, which may include centralized telemetry, virtual observation (telesitting), transfer center operations, device tracking, and other non‑licensed or hybrid service lines. * Ensure reliable performance, uptime, and workflow integration of Pulse Center platforms in collaboration with IT, Digital Health, Informatics, and vendor partners. * Serve as the operational owner for technology‑dependent workflows, ensuring tools are used consistently, effectively, and in alignment with defined care and operational models. Staff Leadership & Workforce Management * Directly supervise Pulse Center support staff and technical roles, including scheduling, onboarding, competency validation, performance management, and corrective action as needed. * Promote accountability, engagement, and professional development across support and technical teams. * Ensure appropriate staffing models, productivity standards, and coverage plans across 24/7 operations, including coordination with clinical leadership. Innovation Execution & Scaling * Support the design, piloting, evaluation, and scaling of new Pulse Center technologies and service models in partnership with clinical leaders and enterprise stakeholders. * Translate innovation concepts and pilots into standardized, sustainable operational workflows. * Participate in business case development, grant support, and reporting related to Pulse Center growth and technology adoption. Data, Performance & Continuous Improvement * Monitor operational and technology performance metrics, including service reliability, throughput, response times, and utilization. * Identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities related to technology workflows and support services. * Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and user experience. Collaboration & Enterprise Integration * Partner closely with Pulse Center clinical leadership to ensure seamless alignment between technology‑supported services and clinical operations. * Serve as a key liaison with IT, Analytics, Digital Health, Supply Chain, and external vendors. * Ensure changes to systems or workflows are communicated, tested, and implemented with minimal operational disruption. Financial & Resource Stewardship * Support fiscal accountability through efficient resource utilization, vendor coordination, and staffing optimization. * Assist with operational budgeting, contract support, and tracking of technology‑related expenses and ROI.
