The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time MATERIALS EXPEDITER, WG-6910-07, to work at the Air Force Materiel Command, (AFMC) in the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) in the Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) with AMARG at DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE located in TUCSON, AZ. 2026 Salary Range: ($57,288-$66,825) / Yearly with locality

The primary purpose of this position To route and expedite the movement of parts, end items, supplies, and materials within production and repair facilities to meet priority needs.

Qualifications:

- U.S. Citizenship

- Obtain & maintain Security clearance

- This may be a designated Drug Testing Position

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)

- The employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include overtime, and/or days, swings, or owl shifts.

- The employee may be required to work during base exercises, contingencies or emergency situations.

- The employee may occasionally travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft IAW Joint Travel Regulations to other government installations, contractor facilities, or other commercial Locations for both training and mission accomplishment.

-The work may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle. Must be able to obtain and maintain an appropriate valid driver's license.

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

1. Knowledge of production processes and supply procedures in order to locate and expedite critical parts; and technical practices to be able to route, move, assemble, receive, select, and obtain materials.

2. Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures.

3. Knowledge of parts and equipment to be able to identify most of the parts, tools, and equipment encountered on several concurrent projects.

4. Ability to carry out work practices such as verifying and correcting routing and ordering documents and keeping things neat, clean, and in order.

5. Ability to read and interpret instructions and production control and supply documents.

6. Ability to route, obtain, and expedite parts, end items, supplies, and materials without more than normal supervision.
