San FranciscoSolutions Engineering /Full-Time /On-siteAs a Solutions Consultant, you will work closely with our GTM and Product teams to close new business through solution expertise and advise customers on orchestrating new data workflows. For Windfall’s GTM motion, the Solutions Consultant will support several high impact workstreams.You'll be a trusted technical partner to sales and customer success, a hands-on problem-solver for prospects and customers alike, the face of the product in demos, and a champion for customer needs across our GTM strategy.You should enjoy solving problems and collaborating with others, and have a strong understanding of the AdTech/MarTech ecosystem. And we hold to our core values of: (1) Be an excellent communicator; (2) Operate with transparency; (3) Provide leverage, not optimization; (4) Win when our customers win; and (5) Act with integrity and trust.Responsibilities:Understand business problems to find the best technical solution among all possibleDesign and deliver workflows, tests, and POCs for prospects and customers, and make recommendations for new use casesPartner with commercial sales and customer success as the technical arm of the relationshipBuild deep relationships with client technical teams that carry from the sales cycle through the life of the accountOwn the technical health of a book of customers, spotting adoption gaps or risks before they become churnDevelop expertise regarding internal tools and administrationDescribe the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of the technology to project stakeholdersEstablish and maintain internal relationships with adjoining teams to ensure a seamless experience pre- and post-saleAdvise teams on customer feedback on our product and effectiveness of collateralDocument customer business objectives, workflow diagrams, and success criteriaLead the technical components of customer-facing presentations, including demos, QBRs, and renewal conversationsConduct/participate in opportunity pre- and post-mortems, assisting with documentationSupport account planning, whitespace analysis, and renewal/expansion strategyRequirements:A minimum of 2+ years in an external client-facing role with great EQ is essentialPrior experience in Solution(s) Role or AdTech/MarTech/Data industryScrappiness (We don't have all the answers, but you'll need to find them)Basic computer science skills or interest in self-learning (Command-Line and SQL proficiency will jumpstart your time to value)Great communication skills internally and externally – Prompt response and action when needed, people rarely need to follow up with youStartup personality: smart, ethical, friendly, cross-functional, hardworking, and proactivePreferred Qualifications:Bachelors and/or Masters degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or another quantitative fieldAbility to work in ambiguous environments with little directionTechnical experience with analytical tools, methodologies, and designWillingness and desire to learn and adopt new skills - both technical and non-technical - to craft and deliver the best solutionsAdditional Information:The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across California. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
