Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity offers a Pharmacy Technician role in a retail pharmacy setting located in Allegan, MI. It is a contract-to-hire position with a structured yet dynamic schedule designed to support work-life balance and professional growth.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8.5-hour shifts
- Rotating start times between 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:30 AM
- Pharmacy closes at 6:00 PM on Fridays
- No weekend shifts initially; weekend hours may be introduced later
Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications under pharmacy regulations
- Provide excellent customer service in a retail environment
- Operate the Pioneer RX computer system to manage prescriptions and inventory
- Maintain proper documentation and compliance with Michigan pharmacy laws
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician license
- Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in retail settings
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
