Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated, goal-driven Insurance Producer to join our growing independent agency. Representing multiple top-rated carriers, you will leverage a competitive portfolio to match clients with tailored coverage solutions for both personal and commercial lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across personal (auto, home) and commercial lines through networking, referrals, and outbound outreach.
• Risk Advisory & Consultation: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to uncover coverage gaps, educate clients, and deliver customized policy solutions.
• Quoting & Closing: Utilize carrier rating tools and agency management systems (AMS) to analyze options, build competitive multi-carrier proposals, and finalize sales.
• Retention & Relationship Management: Provide ongoing expert advisory services to cultivate long-term client trust and support high annual renewal rates.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensing: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in NY and/or PA preferred.
• Sales Track Record: 1–3 years of experience in insurance sales, business development, customer success, retail sales, or account management.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and consultative selling skills with the ability to translate complex insurance concepts into clear recommendations.
• Technical Proficiency: Fluent with CRM software, modern agency management systems, carrier portals, and standard office suites (MS Office or Google Workspace).
• Core Traits: Highly self-motivated, ethically grounded, resilient, and energized by performance-based earning potential.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
