We are looking for a (2nd shift) Maintenance Mechanic Lead to join the team at our Norridge, IL location. Please note, this is a full-time, 2nd  shift position (3:15pm - 11:45pm, Monday - Friday).

General Summary
Responsible for maintenance and daily operations of casting machines, process parameters, sampling, process development and casting quality, as well being a liaison between shifts.
Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on die casting machines as necessary to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace hydraulic and pneumatic components, including hydraulic pumps, hydraulic and air cylinders, solenoid valves, accumulators, pump motors, oil systems, and filtration equipment.
• Implement standardized maintenance procedures, documentation, and best practices to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and ensure consistency of repairs across all production equipment.
• Diagnose equipment performance issues and perform repairs to maximize machine uptime and production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment up to 480V
• Communicate equipment status, repairs, and priorities effectively between shifts
• Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
• Assist in the general housekeeping of department

Requirements

• Previous maintenance experience

Salary : $29.00/hr. (+$1.00 differential)
