Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to craft a work environment that suits your needs while maintaining a focus on patient support. You will connect with patients through telehealth platforms, utilizing technology to deliver effective and responsive care. The work schedule is adaptable, offering autonomy in your hours, with a requirement to be available Monday through Friday and occasional weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and assessments to understand patients' needs and develop personalized care plans.

• Provide crisis intervention and follow-up care, ensuring that patients in acute distress receive immediate and effective support.
\n
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including the Department of Correction and other institutional programs, to ensure patients have access to the appropriate levels of care.

• Lead group therapy sessions for patients in mental health observation units, fostering a supportive environment for shared experiences and healing.
\n
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately and timely, contributing to statistical reports that inform departmental practices.
\n
• Participate actively in clinical supervision sessions at least once a week to enhance your professional development and ensure high standards of care.

• Engage in case conferences, sharing insights and collaborating with other professionals on treatment planning for individuals under mental health consideration.

• May assist in conducting psychological testing when required, providing further insights into patient needs and potential treatment methodologies.

• Supervise and mentor social work interns or volunteer students, facilitating their professional growth and ensuring an enriched learning environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with adults facing a range of mental health challenges, often compounded by social, economic, and environmental factors. Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach toward patients and their families.
