Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Job Summary:
Unable to provide specific location details; this role involves providing speech therapy services in an outpatient setting. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate patient speech, language, and swallowing functions through assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
Educate patients and families on strategies to improve communication skills.
Maintain compliance with industry standards and facility policies.

Qualifications:

Hold an active GA Speech-Language Pathologist license.
Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a related specialty.
Be certified in AHA BLS.
Have proficiency in MBS/FEES procedures (preferred but not required).
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Prefer candidates with experience in acute care settings.
