Category/Area of Expertise: IT & Technology Job Requisition: 485740 Address: USA-MA-Quincy-1385 Hancock Street Store Code: Greenville Data Center – It (5118626) Primary Purpose The Cloud Reliability Engineer III designs and implements cloud services and guardrails, automates routine operations, and improves reliability and developer experience. Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations are Salisbury, NC & Quincy, MA. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Duties & Responsibilities Design reusable cloud modules and reference patterns. Implement policy enforcement and configuration baselines. Enhance observability and SLO/SLA reporting. Execute upgrades, patching, and change windows safely. Troubleshoot incidents and drive corrective actions. Document standards, golden paths, and runbooks. Collaborate with platform, security, and product teams. May be called upon to support critical escalations and must be available during urgent IT incidents as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience. 5+ years in cloud engineering or platform operations. 5+ years of production experience in Cloud technologies – Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, Azure functions, Azure automation and runbooks, workbooks, Insights, Security Center, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics. Hands on experience with IaC tools like ADO, ARM, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, azcli, GitHub. Hands on with automation, IAM, networking, and core cloud services. Familiarity with containers/serverless and CI/CD. Strong problem solving and communication. At least 4 years of hands‑on operational experience supporting the following or related: Azure Virtual Network, VNet, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer (L4/L7), Traffic Manager, CDN, Azure DNS, routing & routing protocols like BGP, firewall concepts. Azure Identity including Azure AD, PIM, Conditional Access, MFA, Azure AD Connect, passwordless sign‑ins, Microsoft Defender, Key Vault. Azure Governance, Security, Monitoring, Workbooks, Compliance, and cost awareness. Azure Virtual Machines, Containers, and/or Kubernetes and/or OpenShift (infrastructure perspective). Azure Storage Account, Disk, Snapshot, Backup, Site Recovery, file sync, Data Lake. Preferred Qualifications Azure Certifications. Exposure to cost optimization and tagging standards.
