JOB SUMMARY Emergency Medical Technician transports Harris Health System patients via ambulance and provides care in accordance with treatment modalities and Protocols. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of accredited school offering EMS training. EMT Certified in the State of Texas One year in EMS field preferred. Current Texas Driver's license EQUIPMENT OPERATED Equipment Operated: Vehicle, Computer SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact) Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking) Writing/Composing: Reports OTHER SKILLS Other Skills: Analytical, Medical Terms, P.C.
