Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patients' cognitive and physical functioning to identify treatment needs.
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on standardized assessments and clinical standards.
  
  
• 
  Administer therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive device use to support patient rehabilitation.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and document outcomes accurately in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Provide consultation and education to patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members regarding treatment plans and progress.
  
  
• 
  Support supervision of occupational therapy assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as required.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid occupational therapy license in the state of Texas.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of relevant OT experience, preferably in LTC or rehab settings.
  
  
• 
  Ability to perform standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and patients.
  
  
• 
  Capable of supervising and supporting occupational therapy support staff.
  
  
• 
  Willingness to participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
