Corporate Lawyer

A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its sophisticated and growing corporate practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working directly with businesses and entrepreneurs and wants the opportunity to develop a long-term practice within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

The attorney will work with clients across a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including:

• General business and corporate counseling
• Mergers and acquisitions, including asset and stock transactions
• Due diligence and transaction negotiations
• Debt and equity financings
• Venture capital and convertible debt transactions
• Bank and other commercial financings
• Commercial contracts and general commercial law
• Entity formation and structuring
• Counseling emerging growth companies and startups throughout their business lifecycle
• State and federal securities law matters and private offerings

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced corporate team on sophisticated matters while also having the autonomy and support to build and grow their own practice.

What They’re Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active admission and good standing in New Hampshire
• Massachusetts admission is a plus
• At least 3 years of relevant corporate/transactional experience
• Experience within a sophisticated corporate practice
• Strong understanding of corporate transactions, entity formation, venture capital financing, private offerings, and applicable state and federal securities laws
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage client relationships and work collaboratively with attorneys and professionals across the firm
