This facility is a well-established healthcare system featuring a 32-bed Level III NICU that supports approximately 4,000 annual deliveries. The team is collaborative and collegial, with strong neonatal nurse practitioner support both during daytime hours and overnight, ensuring providers can maintain an excellent work-life balance while delivering exceptional neonatal care.

Physician - Neonatology


Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a 32-bed Level III NICU
• Manage care for infants from a busy newborn nursery service supporting approximately 4,000 annual deliveries
• Work alongside 2 Neonatologists and 2 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners during daytime hours
• Participate in home-based night call with 24/7 in-house NNP coverage during nighttime hours
• Perform and maintain hands-on neonatal procedures
• Collaborate within a supportive, team-oriented, and collegial practice environment
• Participate in mentorship and professional development opportunities, with particular support available for new graduates
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate neonatal care
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Neonatal Perinatal required
• Active Kentucky Medical License or willingness to obtain required
• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
• Must reside within the immediate local area; relocation may be required
• This is a permanent, full-time position - Locum and visa candidates will not be considered
• Open to fresh graduates
