THE ROLE

The Senior Technical Product Manager, Veda AI Platform is a strategic, technical PM role focused on rapidly changing AI Innovation. Working closely with our Product Management Leads and our Platform Engineers and Architects, you will strongly influence our AI strategy, and drive our roadmap and requirements for our AI Platform. You will thrive on researching and learning new skills and technology, becoming fluent with AI Tooling, Analytics, and Telemetry. This role is highly technical, requiring a deep understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS), the unique security, trust, and operation challenges of generative AI, Agents and LLMs.

As the Senior Technical Product Manager, Veda AI Platform you will display a high degree of technical and operational focus, working with a multi-disciplinary team to define and deliver the foundational infrastructure and operational roadmap for our AI Platform. In this critical role, you will define how Certinia Solutions consume, track and monetize AI and Agentic solutions, applying your architectural, industry, and collaborative skills & experience drive innovative use of AI in the Enterprise Professional Services and Customer Success Markets. This will include the impact of AI technology trends & competitive perspectives, plus the value of the Certinia solution portfolio and the Salesforce Agentforce Platform in delivering high value solutions for our customers. This person will help bridge the gap between business operations and rapidly innovating AI technology - speaking the value language of business and technology to internal stakeholders and customers.


This role will combine a deep understanding of AI trends and technology, enterprise applications, data & analytics, industry best practices, business processes, and architectural patterns to help shape and execute the customer readiness and solution strategy for our AI Platform to drive thought leadership and accelerate the adoption of Certinia AI solutions at our customers.


WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

• Security, Trust, & Privacy: Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for AI-specific security controls, and privacy preserving AI Architectures
• Consumption & Monetization: Define the roadmap for high-precision AI usage tracking and a flexible consumption-based billing engine, covering token and compute metering by org, user, and agent, credit and entitlement management, tiered and consumptive pricing models, and real-time cost transparency.
• AWS Infrastructure & AI Research: Perform research into AWS Infrastructure & AI Services (e.g. Bedrock, Sagemaker, etc) and tooling to select the optimal solutions for platform performance, availability and reliability
• Operational Excellence: Collaborate with leadership on operational requirements for platform health, including operational SLAs/SLOs, KPIs, monitoring, alerts, AI workload performance, and LLM Cost Management
• Compliance Frameworks: Working with Security and Legal, translate global regulations into actionable technical requirements for data privacy, trust, residency.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Act as technical bridge between Legal, Security, Finance, AI Platform Engineering and Architecture, to resolve trade-offs between speed and standards
• Vendor Management: Define requirements and success criteria for integrations with 3rd party tools, Foundational Models, and other AI technologies for the AI Platform ecosystem

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

• 7+ years of experience in technical product management, solution architecture, or platform engineering, with at least 3 years focused on infrastructure or platform products
• Experience defining product requirements while embedded with infrastructure or platform engineering teams on AWS.
• Knowledge of AI technology with a strong understanding of AI workflows, Agentic Platforms, LLM Consumption patterns
• Experience with enterprise solution architecture, infrastructure, integration platforms, business process, application, data & analytics, and design to tie into a broader solution for customers
• Highly collaborative, with experience working in an agile, data-driven environment
• Is self-motivated / self-directed - capable of multi-tasking and accepting change both in tasks and schedule
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, service mesh architectures, and observability tooling is a strong plus
• Knowledge of Certinia and Salesforce Applications and the Salesforce Platform, are highly desirable
• Ability to analyze complex business/technical problems, synthesize solutions, and communicate options to a wide group of stakeholders
• Some domestic and international travel

The reasonably expected base salary range for this full-time position is $159,500 - $199,400 annually Please note that the final offer will be determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
