Regional EHS Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Regional Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support multiple facilities within an assigned region. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, driving safety initiatives, conducting audits and investigations, and partnering with operations to build a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state/local regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Track corrective actions and monitor key safety performance metrics.
• Support emergency preparedness, regulatory reporting, and workers' compensation programs.
• Partner with site leadership to improve workplace safety and reduce risk.
• Travel to regional locations as needed (up to 60%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of EHS experience, preferably supporting multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance.
• Experience conducting audits, investigations, and employee safety training.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, construction, or industrial environments is preferred.
• Professional certifications (ASP, CSP, CIH, or CHMM) and ISO 14001/45001 experience are a plus.
