In this part-time position, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to create an engaging, inclusive atmosphere for approximately 30 students. This opportunity offers flexibility with a weekly schedule ranging from 5 to 10 hours, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while balancing other commitments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly K-1st grade
• Strong understanding of child development, learning processes, and behavioral interventions
• Ability to perform assessments, develop intervention plans, and participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents
• Skilled at building rapport with young children and fostering a supportive environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students’ learning, social, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement intervention strategies
• Support student growth through counseling and skill-building sessions in areas such as social skills and emotional regulation
• Provide insights during multidisciplinary and IEP meetings to help shape individualized educational plans
• Consult with families and staff to recommend resources and supports tailored to each student's needs
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies as required, ensuring optimal outcomes for each child
