Company Description APR Islands Management LLC is an authorized operating franchisee for Qdoba Mexican Eats restaurants in the United States Northeastern territory. The company is focused on expanding Qdoba’s presence in this region, offering guests fresh, fast-casual Mexican cuisine. APR Islands Management LLC is building a team of hospitality-focused professionals to support its growth and operational excellence. The first restaurant opened in Warwick, RI, with additional locations planned as the brand continues to develop its footprint. Role Description The Assistant General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Qdoba Mexican Eats restaurant in Nashua, NH. This role supports the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including supervising team members, managing shift schedules, and ensuring consistent food quality and guest service. The Assistant General Manager helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, enforces health and food safety standards, and monitors inventory, cash handling, and operational procedures. This position also contributes to training and coaching staff, resolving guest concerns, and supporting local marketing and community engagement efforts. The role involves hands‑on participation in restaurant activities, including peak service times, to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Qualifications Experience in restaurant or hospitality management, including supervising staff and managing daily operations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest interactions, address concerns, and promote a positive dining experience. Basic financial and operational skills, such as cash handling oversight, inventory management, and understanding of sales and labor targets. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to train, coach, and motivate team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm and organized in a fast‑paced environment. Prior experience in a fast‑casual or quick‑service restaurant environment is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in hospitality or business is a plus.
