Job Summary

We are hiring a hands-on Quality Control Inspector for our Franklin Park custom fabrication facility. You will serve as the ultimate line of defense directly on our active shop floor. This role ensures our large-scale custom metal products meet elite industry standards before shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect: Perform visual, mechanical, and electrical checks on custom metal fabrications.

• Measure: Master calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and specialized pressure gauges.

• Decode: Read blueprints, complex engineering drawings, and welding symbols daily.

• Track: Document critical metrics, temperatures, and weights accurately.

• Solve: Team up with welders and fabricators to correct errors quickly.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of industrial QC/QA inspection experience.

• Proven track record in metal fabrication or custom job shops.

• Skills: Expert blueprint reading and precision hand tool proficiency.

• Physical: Comfortable working on an active, heavy industrial shop floor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
