Inventory Control Specialist

Precision Medical is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to track and audit inventory on site to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages. Duties/Responsibilities: Perform goods receiving transactions, including physical count. Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in full annual physical inventory to identify discrepancies. Update inventory management system to maintain accurate records. Analyze usage and work with Materials Manager on materials ordered to avoid runouts. Organize warehouse storage for efficient retrieval and safety. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies (shortages, overages, damaged goods). Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory. Perform daily safety inspection of warehouse equipment. Certify and recertify employees on forklift training. Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase accuracy and efficiency. Act as backup for shipping department as needed. Perform additional duties as needed. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy. Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, inventory-related software, and handheld scanners. Inventory management and auditing Data analysis and reporting Organization and time management Communication and teamwork Must be able to work successfully without close supervision Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED. 2 to 4 years of previous warehouse or logistics experience. Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, inventory-related software, and handheld scanners. Forklift operator certification required; willingness and ability to complete a “train the trainer” course to teach other employees for forklift certification. Valid driver’s license required. Able to climb steps/ladders. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
