Your Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, initiate diagnostic procedures, and create customized care strategies
• Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic health issues with physicians' collaboration or independently, based on your qualifications
• Educate patients and their families on wellness, prevention strategies, and management of illnesses

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or the equivalent in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
