Job Description
Title
Labor & Delivery Nurse

Schedule
Shift options: 36 or 48 hours
Weekend requirement: 4-6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks

Requirements
- Preferred: 3 years clinical experience
- Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP (pending certs allowed)
- Key clinical skills: labor & delivery, antepartum care, triage of obstetrical patients, external fetal monitoring, assist with vaginal and high-risk deliveries, circulatory care for C-sections, sterile vaginal exam, insulin drips, maintain CVC/PICC, isolation precautions

Compliance / Notes
- Pending NM/Compact licenses accepted but must be obtained prior to start
- 50-mile local radius - local hires not accepted
- Previous facility staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off must be listed at submittal; max 4 days RTO can be auto-approved
- Modules are non-billable; RN module time averages 4-6 hours; modules completed onsite
- After contract signing: traveler expected to complete labs within 48 business hours
