This is a hands-on engineering role with real ownership and variety. Core responsibilities include:Leading innovative electronic/electrical design from concept to production, including schematic creation, prototyping, and design iterationBuilding and managing project timelines, budgets, and quality targets independentlyDesigning, fabricating, and evaluating rapid and conventional prototypes for performance and reliabilityWriting product specifications, test plans, and verification documentationConducting feasibility studies, competitive testing, and design qualificationsTroubleshooting complex electrical/electronic issues during development and post-productionGenerating Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and maintaining complete engineering documentationCollaborating cross-functionally with manufacturing, operations, and outside suppliers on tooling, assembly, and capacity planningWhat You Bring Education: BSEE, BSET, or equivalent Experience: 5+ years in electrical design engineering, ideally in consumer products Strong command of schematic reading and design tools (simulation, analysis, CAD) Hands-on experience taking products from napkin sketch to manufacturable design Solid grasp of financial modeling and NPD processes A creative problem-solver with sharp analytical instincts and clear communication skillsThe Bottom Line If you like owning projects end-to-end, working across the full stack of hardware development, and seeing your designs go from bench to shelf — this role delivers that.
