Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with GI/endoscopy procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, EBUS, EUS, flexible sigmoidoscopy, biopsies, polyp removal, foreign body removal, and dilations (CRE balloon)
- Handle specimens (cytology, pathology, frozen sections) and manage specimen flow for bronchoscopic and colonoscopic cases
- Support infection control and high-level disinfection, instrument processing, washer/sterilizer use, room turnover and restock
- Operate and troubleshoot endoscopy equipment (colonoscopes, bronchoscopes, EGD scopes, EUS/EBUS scopes, electrosurgical units, C-arm/fluoroscopy, balloon dilators, forceps, snares)
- Prepare procedure setups, perform time-outs/universal protocols, and assist with bedside or portable cases
- Maintain EPIC charting for procedures, patient status, and post-procedure documentation; collaborate with the team to ensure accurate records

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in hand
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- EPIC charting experience required
- Willingness to float within the endoscopy unit as needed
- Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient endoscopy settings
- Travel assignment eligibility; first-time travelers accepted
- RTO requests: 7 days max; coordinate with Account Manager prior to submittal
- Geographic requirements: candidates must be located more than 50 miles away; candidates within 75 miles are not accepted
- Background checks and required pre-start modules may be required
